Anna Dierssen (1884-1969), Papers, 1907-1965

Elizabeth Flora Anna Dierssen was born in Gravelton, Wayne County, Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri and the Southeast Missouri State Teachers College, formerly known as the Third District State Normal School. Ms. Dierssen taught English in various southeastern Missouri high schools and served as superintendent for the Lowndes School District. Volume 1 is a diary describing her experiences at the University of Missouri, Columbia, 1907-1908.
