INTRODUCTION
Walter Williams’ scrapbooks are four volumes of photographs from trips that he took to Europe, the Holy Land, and South America, and a scrapbook of photographs of students, faculty, and the campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia. Williams was the dean of the School of Journalism and president of the University of Missouri.
DONOR INFORMATION
The Walter Williams Scrapbooks were transferred from the State Historical Society of Missouri Library to the manuscript collection on 31 December 1945 (SHS Accession No. 662).
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The Walter Williams Scrapbooks are five volumes of photographs arranged in chronological order. Four are from trips that Williams took in the early 1900s and in 1930 and 1931. The fifth depicts faculty, students, and the campus of the University of Missouri, c. 1910.
