PROJECT SKETCH

The Missouri Environment Oral History Project is a regular, on-going project conducted by the State Historical Society of Missouri. The project, which began in 1997, seeks to document the history of conservation, preservation, environmentalism, land and natural resource use in Missouri. Topics and issues addressed include [or will include] forestry, wildlife management, minerals extraction, waterways issues, and environmental politics.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

The Missouri Environment Oral History Project Records consist of oral interviews on audio cassettes and transcripts. The cassettes are arranged chronologically; the transcripts are arranged in the same order as the cassettes.
