Manuscript of Little Town on the Prairie with some correspondence from Mrs. Wilder to Miss Webber, children's librarian at the Pomona Public Library, Pomona, California. Letters date from 1950 to 1954. The manuscript is undated.

DONOR INFORMATION

The Laura Ingalls Wilder, Little Town on the Prairie microfilm was donated to the University of Missouri by James M. Warnock on 13 December 1982 (Accession No. 4480).

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

Microfilm copy of a draft of Wilder's manuscript of Little Town on the Prairie, which was donated to the children's room of the Pomona Public Library about 1950 when the room was named in her honor. The draft appears to be a revision of the one located in collection #3633, Laura Ingalls Wilder Papers, folders 4 and 5. The correspondence regards the naming and dedication of the room and answers some questions children had asked about the author and her books.
