f. 1Agreements and contracts, 1799-1801. Regarding a Negress, an indenture, a horse race, and ownership of hogs and shoats. Major parties involved include Guillaume Girouard and Edward Roberson, Rebecca Jones and Joshia Lee, Jeremiah Thomson and Edward Roberson, and Felix Hoover and Solomon Thorn.
f. 2Bills of sale, 1798-1802. Documents, including an itemized inventory, related to the public sale of a house, land, and personal property of James Tate. Bills of sale for slaves of Jeremiah Thomson and Alexander Baillie to James Richardson, Samuel Randel, and Guillaume Girouard.
