The Bethel Baptist Church records were loaned to the State Historical Society of Missouri for copying by the church through Max Klinkenborg on 3 December 1986 (SHS Accession No. 2629)
HISTORICAL SKETCH
Bethel Baptist Church was organized on 9 May 1855 in Cedar Township, Boone County, with twenty persons becoming charter members. A building was erected in 1858 and the Reverend J.M. Robinson was pastor. More complete histories of the church can be found in folder two of the collection.
